Course Offerings
Goodwin College of Professional Studies offers certification in Lean Six Sigma at four sequential levels: White Belt, Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt. (Please note that not every certification course is offered each term; see the course catalog for the most up-to-date information.) In these courses, you'll learn the guiding Lean Six Sigma principles to excel in business process and operational improvement. Goodwin's Six Sigma training in Philadelphia are traditionally offered in-person, with the exception of the Black Belt certification, which is also offered online.
White Belt Certification (SSCE 9103)
Our White Belt training course will provide you with an understanding of the time-tested principles of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and how these principles provide the most effective transformation to process improvement.

Gain an understanding of the Operational Excellence approach to process improvement, including the ability to apply the fundamentals of Lean, Six Sigma and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology. The Drexel Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training is a comprehensive and rigorous journey that a dedicated student can undertake to expand and hone his or her continuous improvement skills.
